ANU Appeals Panel Undergraduate Nominations Open
The ANU Appeals Panel is a body that reviews disciplinary matters pertaining to students potential breaches of the code of conduct and academic integrity. Every year, ANUSA nominates undergraduate students to the panel to sit alongside ANU staff members to review appeals under the Appeals Rule.

The Appeals Panel is great for students who have an interest or experience in dealing with complex problem-solving and ensuring that there is due process and natural justice provided to all parties. The workload is highly variable (varying from no work to several hours per week) depending on the number of appeals being made. The work can occasionally include distressing material.

If this opportunity is of interest to you, please send 150-200 words to the ANUSA President, Christian Flynn, at sa.president@anu.edu.au. It is expected that you will serve on the Panel for a period of 2 years (i.e., until the end of 2024). Applications close on 23 September at 5PM.

Overleaf Survey
If you use latex for collaborative paper writing (e.g. dealing with bibliography and math/symbols) or teaching, you may have heard or used Overleaf (https://www.overleaf.com/), which has emerged to become the dominant online tool for this.

You are invited to fill (and forward as you see fit) the following 4-min survey, to help build a case for better features and ANU support (with 300+ current entries and growing). Complete survey >
