Do you need help with a legal issue? Come and see the ANUSA Legal Service lawyer for free and confidential legal advice. Michael Curtotti is a practicing lawyer who has worked in the community, government and university sectors. If you are experiencing any issues including tenancy, contracts, insurance, migration, intellectual property, defamation etc. you are welcome to make an appointment.
Areas of law that we cannot help with include family law, property law, social security, public housing or wills.
The ANUSA Legal Service is a community legal centre operated by ANUSA which provides legal services to enrolled ANU students.
Visit the ANUSA Office Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm to make an appointment with the ANUSA Legal Service lawyer. Drop ins are not available. Appointments are available Monday to Wednesday from 9am to 5pm.
If you are unable to attend campus due to travel restrictions or for other reasons you can make appointment for legal advice using Skype.

- Temporary graduate visa or permanent migration? = You can attend a workshop
- Other visa questions (student visa, partner visa etc)? = You can make an appointment.
- No migration workshops running at the moment? = You can make an appointment
If your query is about temporary graduate visa or permanent migration you must have attended a workshop before booking an appointment (unless the migration workshops aren’t currently running).
You must be a current student at ANU to attend a migration workshop.
