Skill Up Program
ANUSA’s Skill Up Program is designed to help students find casual work or elevate your career competencies while studying at ANU. The program will help equip you with skills and certifications to help find your next employment.
Applications are now open, and will remain open until 24th March 2025, or once funding is exhausted.
ANUSA is looking to reimburse students one course/certification/program up to the amount of $200 per student.
Students are to identify a suitable course that they would like to enroll in, and if successful, the cost of this program would be reimbursed (up to $200). In your application form, please listed the full amount that it costed you, including but not limits: administration fee, transaction fee, physical card fee, etc. (receipt/payment record must be provided)

If you are successful, you are to enroll and make necessary arrangements to attend this program on your own.
Examples of programs that are eligible include:
- First Aid
- Responsible Service of Alcohol training
- Working with Vulnerable People Card
- Latte Art
- Coffee Basics
- White Card
Eligibility Criteria:
- A currently enrolled student at ANU
- Looking for a job while studying
- Looking to enroll in a program that will assist in finding a job
Please note, your application does not guarantee success as such do not pay for your program until deemed successful. ANUSA will not be responsible for any unapproved additional cost. Student assistance team will reach out to you if your application is successful via email. Successful applicants will be asked to provide any receipt/supporting document to us for reimbursement.
If you are an International Student on a Student Visa, you must enrol in a course that is CRICOS accredited. ANUSA does not bear any responsibility to your Visa status should you enrol in an course that is not CRICOS accredited. More information on this can be found here: https://cricos.education.gov.au/.
