Thank you!

What an amazing week of social events, workshops and initiatives!

Whether you volunteered, or attended an in person or online event, it was wonderful to see new and continuing students, and we are so touched by how highly engaged ANU students were with our events.

In 2022, Australian National University’s Lifeblood Team saved over 7500 lives, making it the most generous Lifeblood Team in Canberra.

By joining ANU’s Team in 2023, you’ll be part of a life-giving group of donors who make a real difference to the lives of blood and plasma recipients. Each donation you make will go towards the lives saved by ANU overall as well as the Blood Challenges you are part of:

  • Tertiary Blood Challenge – for every ANU student Uni versus Uni for the title of most generous Uni in Australia.
  • AMSA Vampire Cup – for medical students, compete against the medical faculties of other Unis across Australia.
  • ANU Res Hall Challenge – for those staying on campus, battle it out to be the most giving Hall/College at ANU – current title holders Bruce Hall.

Join Australian National University’s Lifeblood Team by updating your ‘preferences’ in your on-line donor account, Donate Blood App or at a donor centre reception desk.

When you make a donation, you will be giving life to Australians in need.

Restore the ANU Bus Route
If you live on campus, or ever have, you know the pain of an hour walk to get groceries, of the extra slog at the start and end of your commute, and the fear of trekking back across an unlit campus after a night out.

But these weren't always the case. There used to be two buses which ferried students to and from Civic, the rest of Canberra, and back again. However, they were axed in 2019 to much student uproar.

It's time to bring them back, and we have a golden opportunity to do so, by signing this petition to restore a bus line to Campus. Sign the petition >
