ANUSA Wins for Students!

Your ANUSA Reps have been working really hard advocating on the behalf of students this year. We’re excited to announce these Wins for Students!

  • ANUSA projected to run a surplus in 2022 after successfully campaigning for $532,000 of SSAF
  • ANUSA members voted to extend membership to postgraduate students
  • Expansion of BKSS coverage to include lunch and dinner
  • Expansion of legal service to postgraduates
  • Brought a case to hearing at the Civil and Administrative Tribunal against the ANU over residential hall occupancy agreements
  • School of Art and Design opening hours extended after student pressure

Graduation Ceremony Assistance

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to attend their graduation ceremony. Students facing financial hardship can apply for their regalia to be provided free of cost through GCAP. Closes 5th December.

Student Voices Fighting Racism in the University
Facilitated by the BIPOC association of the Australian National University and the University of Melbourne, the first two universities that produced a Report on Racism in 2021, this event will identify and address racism at the campus’s institutional, curricular, and social relations levels. Guest speakers include Chanel Nguyen (BIPOC Officer 2022), Chido Nyakuengama (BIPOC Officer 2021) and Katchmirr Russell (Indigenous Officer 2022). Free registration.
