Holi the wonderful Hindu festival of colour and love, and it comes early to ANU so that every student has the chance to join in! Join ANUSA and EKTA on Chiefley Meadows for an hour of joy and colour play, followed by snacks and good chats. It's recommended that you wear light-coloured clothing!


11am & 4pm How to Adult: Tenancy & Centrelink
Marie Reay 3.02

Moving off-campus or out of home? Come along to ANUSA's Tenancy edition of How to Adult for all the tips, tricks and legal advice you'll need to smoothly transition to living independently. Guest speakers will be able to answer all the questions you may have about Tenancy Law and Centrelink benefits.


11am Scavenger Hunt
ANU Campus / Kambri

Team up with your friends for two hours of mania as you race around completing challenges in every corner of the known ANU campus for prizes and glory! From sport, to culture, to food; no matter your interest there is a challenge for you. Register your team (of no more than five) using the link below, then come on down to Kambri between 9:30-11am to collect your challenge booklet!


1pm Queer* Tie Dye

Come along to the BKSS where you will be able to tie-dye T-shirts into vibrant and colourful designs 
T-shirts will be provided by us - so just bring yourself and your artistic minds.

This event is non-autonomous. Everyone is welcome!


1:30pm Climate Session Vol.1

The earth is in a state of climate emergency, but if you feel as though you keep hearing this rhetoric and have no idea what people are talking about, you can to this Climate Session in Marie Reay. Experts will break down the basics of climate change, from its impact on the environment to population aspects.
Presenters inlcude Helen Oakey (Conservation Council ACT), Chris Warren (Climate Action Canberra) Sotiris Vardoulakis (ANU) and Jenny Goldie (Sustainable Population Australia).


2pm Bee's Knees Beeswax Wrap Making

Come along to BKSS and get your craft on! Beeswax wraps are a fantastic alternative to clingwrap or other throw-away packaging, and are so easy to make! All materials are provided, just bring your beautiful selves!


2pm Indigenous Dept Weaving Workshop

2:30pm Air Purifying Session

With the smoke in Canberra seeming like a constant of life, come down to the Food Co-Op to learn about how best to protect your lungs and your home from the harmful P2.5 pollutants.


3pm Inflatable Watercourse

Remember the joy of childhood, all the indoor play centres, bouncy castles and ball pits? Revisit that feeling with our Inflatable Water Course! Come on down the Canberra Olympic Pool for a wet and wild adventure that you'll be sure to remember.

All participants are required to be able to swim 25 metres without asisstance.


5pm Trivia

The holy institution of Trivia returns to ANU in 2020 with surprise new hosts! Come on down to the venerated venue, Badger & Co, to find out who they are, and whether or not they're as skilled at heckling as Al was, or as fashionable as Jez. There will be food provided for each table by ANUSA, and music provided by the talented DJ Claire Holland. Bookings are essential!


6:30pm Queer* Night Out
 

Fancy a get-away with your fellow queer* students?
Come along for a night out at Highball Express with the lovely people of the department.
We will have free food platters
