Astronomy Society

The Astronomy Society is an ANU club catering for the interests of those interested in both academic and amateur astronomy. We frequently hold BBQs, observing nights (both on campus and at dark sky sites in the outskirts of the city), and public lectures given by academics from the university. The society owns a large amount of observing equipment, including 3 refractor telescopes, filters for particular wavebands, a solar filter and finderscopes.

We don't have anything planned right now but check back soon!

We acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which ANUSA operates.
We recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters, and communities of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We pay our respect to Elders, past and present, and commit to standing with our first nations people.
