"I am extremely grateful for the invaluable assistance ANUSA - specifically their lawyers - have provided me in relieving a significant amount of the stress I experienced trying to return to Australia due to visa issues.

I decided to contact ANUSA as I heard they helped students with visa issues during a talk during O week after long and fruitless conversations with the relevant personnel/institutions.

To be honest, I was surprised and worried when ANUSA referred me to their lawyers as I had never worked with lawyers before and had the impression that doing so might escalate the issue to a legal case with numerous technicalities and complicated paperwork. I took a leap of faith, however, and have been ever thankful I did.

During the meeting with Michael and Kat, I felt listened for the first time in the months that I was trying to contact anyone for some assistance. They were kind, empathetic, extremely helpful, and prompt in their replies and easily contactable via email. They helped me contact relevant personnel that I never knew about and within a few days I got an answer I hadn't been able to get for months. They also provided me with resources and advised me significantly, very realistically, and helpfully on other side issues (related mental health, admin, school stuff, etc) I consulted them about.

It feels so amazing to finally be heard and feel like there are people supporting you in this lonely struggle with bureaucratic hurdles everywhere.

I highly highly recommend this avenue and would like to dismiss any concerns anyone might have in contacting them for relevant issues. Michael and Kat are professional, empathetic, helpful, prompt, and more than I anything I could have hoped for and helped get me out of a seemingly endless swamp in one of the most stressful periods of my life."

"The lawyers who provided legal advices to me were very friendly and approachable, and I feel more secured about renting a place to stay thereafter."

"Kat was really helpful in providing me advice and gave me different avenues of action that I could undertake. She was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable and confident in seeking clarification with my employers."

"This is a fantastic service ANUSA should be very proud of. Thank you for having this."

"Great job! Professional advice and clear explanations"
