Youth and Proof of Age Policy

  • Underage attendees must purchase a Youth Ticket. The Youth Ticket will have a separate line at entry. Youth Tickets are only available if you are aged 17.
  • Accepted Proof of Age – If you enter the site you will be required to produce adequate proof of your age including:
    • Australian Photo Driver’s Licence or Learner’s Permit;
    • Passport (current or expired less than 2 years ago, not cancelled);
    • Australian Birth Certificate (a copy is acceptable) AND a current Photo ID (eg. Student Card), or;
    • KEYPASS Photo ID or equivalent proof of age card:
      • QLD Photo Identification Card;
      • NSW Proof of Age Card or a NSW Photo Card issued by RMS
      • WA Photo Card issued by WA Department of Transport.
  • Youth Ticket purchasers will be uniquely required to provide the following at purchase:
    • An uploaded photo or photocopy of valid Proof of Age documentation (as above), and;
    • Parent or Guardian Contact Details, meaning:
      • Full Name;
      • Relationship;
      • Contact Phone Number, and;
      • Contact Email.
  • Any ticket holder without valid proof of age will be denied entry.
  • Any underage individual holding an 18+ ticket will be denied entry. Any adult holding a youth ticket will be denied entry.
  • The ‘Bar’ and greater ‘Chill Out Space’ in the centre of the venue will be considered the ‘wet area’. Alcohol may only be consumed or carried in these areas and must be discarded before moving to either the crowd, amenities or entrance areas.
  • Event staff and security reserve the power to permanently remove any attendee, underage or otherwise, found engaging in, promoting or assisting underage drinking.
  • In addition to removal from the event, anyone found supplying an underage attendee alcohol may be referred to the police.
  • When purchasing a Youth Ticket, underage attendees must additionally supply contact details for a parent/guardian, emergency contact and digital copy of photo ID.
