Late Assessment Submission Tips

With the take home exams and assessment submissions coming through this time of year, it is best to be acquainted with the policies and procedures regarding assessments.

The ANU Student Assessment (Coursework) Policy is often quoted, but not included in your course outlines. We want to make sure that the submission of your assessments causes minimal stress and part of that involves knowing the guidelines for late assessment submissions.

Are you a first-year undergraduate university student aged over 18?

The Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education (FARE), together with ANUSA and the ANU Division of Student Life – Access, Inclusion and Wellbeing, are planning to develop a campaign aimed at addressing drinking norms among undergraduate university students in the ACT.

To develop this campaign, we need to find out more about these norms.

If you are a first-year undergrad aged over 18, please check your uni inbox to see whether you have been invited to participate!

Got an innovate new project idea?

The Youth InterACT provides funding of up to $1500 for innovative new projects that enable young people aged 12 – 25 years old to lead and participate in community development activities for other young people in Canberra and the region.

The 2017-18 Youth InterACT Grants Program aims to support young Canberrans to actively engage and connect with other young people in the community.

Examples of previous successful Youth InterACT Grant applicants include murals that were painted in public spaces, Summer Slam Basketball Tournament, Bunnings Trade up for a Trade Program and a Family and Domestic Violence Group.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to demonstrate how their projects, events or activities will increase young people’s social inclusion in Canberra.

Applications close at midnight on Sunday the 3rd of September.

Australia21, an independent not for profit think-tank, is seeking young people in the ACT who would like to take part in a workshop discussing the future and work. We are looking for young people aged 16-25 years from diverse backgrounds who are willing to share their thoughts and feelings about their future and work.

The workshop will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm on 11 September 2017 at the YWCA Canberra, 71 Northbourne Ave, Canberra.
