ANUSA Bush Week 2024: Homebound Full Calendar

The ANU Students' Association (ANUSA) acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work, and study on, the Ngunnawal (Ngunawal) and Ngambri peoples, and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and coming, and extend this acknowledgement to all Indigenous peoples.

The Ngunnawal (Ngunawal) and Ngambri peoples are the first peoples of the Canberra region, continuing to live, travel, and preserve their connection to Country since time immemorial. ANUSA acknowledges its role as a colonial institution and commits itself to Indigenous justice and reconciliation through its work.

Step into the heart of Australia, the bush capital - Ngunnawal (Ngunawal) and Ngambri Country (Canberra), with our "Homebound" Bush Week. This is a week to find connection on Country, taking time to walk in the landscapes and places that we call home.

Throughout the week, you'll experience a variety of activities including reptile encounters, DIY workshops, and lots of social events to meet new and friendly faces. Whether you prefer cozy board games night inside, or a campfire under the stars, this week has something for everybody. This is more than just a week of events —it's a journey into the essence of Australia, a chance to connect with nature and our community.

Bring your friends and come join us on this week-long journey in finding connection on Country.
