Make every second a mocktail

Remember the party and have long lasting memories by swapping every second drink with a mocktail. Slowing down how quickly you drink allows you to participate more and reduces your risk of poor mental health, obesity and fertility problems. It’s time to stop binge drinking for your safety and others.

A message from the Environment Officer

ANU is currently running a consultation process regarding its Below Zero strategy. Currently, ANU directly and indirectly contributes to the emission of significant quantities of greenhouse gases. The consultation process opens an opportunity for students, staff, and community members to contribute their views on ANU's current conduct, their ideas for the future, and to ask questions, around the following themes:

  1. Leadership and targets
  2. Energy & buildings
  3. Travel
  4. Behaviour change
  5. Removing atmospheric greenhouse gas emissions
  6. Finance, investment & purchasing
  7. Integrating below zero operations with research & teaching

Students, staff, and community members are invited to participate in one or both of the following ways:

  1. Contribute ideas, like and build on other ideas via an online idea capturing platform. This can take as little as 5 minutes.
  1. Join in to share and discuss your ideas at an online workshop – ANU will be holding a workshop on each of the themes listed above over the next 6 weeks.
