Dear all,

Tomorrow, those of us who are eligible to vote in Australian elections will be able to cast a ballot in the referendum to enshrine an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament in the Constitution. If you have not voted yet, I encourage you to vote ‘Yes’ in this referendum. The ANUSA SRC approved a motion this week expressing deep concern about how a ‘No’ vote would embolden racism in Australia. You can read the statement we released on this here. The ANU Parents & Carers Group, led by Anastasia Jackowski, recently held a colouring/drawing competition for students and children.  Participants put their artistic skills to the test to create some amazing pieces bursting with colour and creativity. Congratulations to Sanjida (adults category) and Shebonti (kids category) for winning the competition!
