Voting is now open for the 2024 ANUSA Elections. Voting is done online and can be completed from your phone, tablet or laptop. This year there will be a referendum vote happening concurrently with the main ANUSA election.
Why should you vote?
This is your chance to have a say in who represents you at ANU and we encourage postgraduate and HDR students to take part.
The majority of the 41 ANUSA positions represent all students, including postgraduate and HDR students, however there are several positions within ANUSA that are exclusively held by postgraduate and HDR students:
- Postgraduate Member on ANU Council
- Postgraduate Coursework Officer
- Higher Degree by Research Officer
- College representatives for both HDR and postgrad coursework students
Voting takes just a few minutes and we want to make sure every student has their say.
Not sure how to vote?
There is more information about what position each is and who is running on the voting website. By clicking 'Post List', you can see position descriptions for each of the roles. By clicking 'Candidate List', you can see a list of all candidates for each position. On this list, and as you are voting, each candidate has a manifesto that you can view. These manifestos provide information from the candidates and may help you decide how to vote. If you experience issues with the voting website please reach out at sa.admin@anu.edu.au.
Divestment Referendum
ANUSA will also be holding a referendum concurrent with its annual election for students to vote in:
“Do you think ANU should withdraw all current investments in the weapons industry and make no further investments into the weapons industry?” We encourage you to vote in the main election and the Divestment Referendum.
Voting Closes 12pm Thursday 3 October 2024
