Extenuating Circumstances Application

You can submit an ECA when an extenuating circumstance impacts your ability to complete an assessment item worth 20% or more of your final grade, and when seeking an extension of 10 working days or more for assessment items

Assessment Extension

If you are struggling to submit your assessment on time as a coursework student, you can ask for an assessment extension.

Late Withdrawal

Did you know that you are still able to withdraw from your courses even after census date in some circumstances? You may be able to do it up to 12 months after the course has ended and if you’ve failed the course (via Late Withdrawal process).

Show Cause

We understand that there can be non-academic reasons for a student not performing well at the university. It is important to respond to the Show Cause notice in time if you wish to continue studying at ANU.
