Bicycle Program Launched!

 

Thinking about cycling to uni? It’s not just good for the planet — it’s great for your wallet and wellbeing too! Cycling as your daily commute can help you save on transport costs, stay active, and enjoy a bit of fresh air before and after class.

To make it even easier, ANUSA has launched the Bicycle Program, designed to support students who use (or want to use) a bike for transport. Eligible students can claim up to $150 per year for bicycle-related costs — including servicing, parts, safety gear, or even a new bike!

The ACT Government is expanding access to free period products across public spaces — including libraries, schools, and community centres — to support health equity and inclusion.

They’re now seeking feedback to understand what’s working well and how the program can improve. Your input will help guide future planning, identify new locations, and ensure everyone in our community has access to what they need.

Archaeology & Cultural Heritage Field School (Victoria)

Interested in firsthand immersive experiences working alongside ANU archaeologists, cultural heritage professors and traditional landowners? Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to work on a significant archaeological landscape to learn techniques in survey and excavation on the stunning Mornington Peninsula in Victoria! Students will allow also engage in a series of engaging fire-side talks, practical demonstrations and visits to cultural heritage sites.
