The Graduation Ceremony Assistance Program (GCAP) assists students who are experiencing financial hardship that might prevent them attending their graduation ceremony. The program covers the cost of academic regalia hire for the approved applicants. Financial hardship is where a student, by hiring graduation attire, might be left unable to provide for themselves or their dependents in regards to food, accommodation, essential clothing, medical treatment, education or other basic necessities. To be eligible, applicant must:
· Be enrolled as an ANU student including undergraduate, postgraduate and research
· Be eligible to graduate at the July or December ceremonies including conditional approval
· Able to demonstrate financial hardship
The application dates are updated each year after exam period and before the graduation ceremonies.
