Job-Ready Graduate Package - Explained

The JRG package reformed funding for tertiary education so that "practical" degrees, such as STEM, nursing, and teaching, were priced lower than arts and law degrees, which were considered less "job ready".

While students are paying significantly higher fees for many degrees, universities are receiving less funding per student. This is having a huge impact on the access and quality of education across Australia. Find out more and how ANUSA is trying to help in our article below.

MyWay+ Concession Deadline

Important update for students using public transport!

Your MyWay+ student concessions expire on 30 June 2026. If your concession expires and your card is not registered, your fare will automatically revert to a full adult fare.

To continue travelling on a concession fare, students need to revalidate their concession before it expires.

Creating a MyWay+ account to manage your concession, receive expiry reminders and ensure the correct fare is applied when travelling on buses and light rail. Students are encouraged to take action early to avoid paying a full adult fare.

To learn more and understand what options will work for you visit Transport Canberra’s website.
