The Time is Now: Protest and Sit In

CW: Sexual assault and sexual harassment, gender-based violence, institutional betrayal

JOIN ANU Women's Department and ANUSA to PROTEST & SIT-IN, 2pm 31st July in Kambri, to demand accountability from the ANU on sexual assault and harassment.

Your voice matters. Show up for your friends, for victim-survivors, for yourself and for your community, to push for safety at the ANU.

THE TIME IS NOW to end institutional betrayal at the ANU.

Free ANUSA Migration Workshops

These workshops are for ANU students who would like to learn more about student visa conditions, temporary graduate visa or permanent skilled migration and Canberra Matrix. Partner visas are also covered in brief. The HDR Migration Workshop will discuss pathways for PR for PHD candidates. 

You must be a current student of the ANU to attend the workshop.

The semester may be over but Shut Up and Write is still here for your thesis-writing needs. Write in a supportive environment with free lunch or dinner provided for a limited number of HDR students in each session
 

ARMS Indigenous Health Conference 2026 – Stronger Together
Join the ANU Rural Medical Society (ARMS) for our annual Indigenous Health Conference on Saturday, 25 July (10:00 am–4:00 pm) at the Innovations Space, Birch Building, ANU.

This student-led conference brings together students, health professionals, researchers, and community leaders for a day of learning, discussion, and connection centred on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Through inspiring speakers, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities, attendees will explore this year's theme, "Stronger Together," and the importance of culturally safe healthcare, respectful allyship, and Indigenous leadership.

Open to people from all disciplines and backgrounds, with limited places available.

Tickets: $10 ARMS Members | $15 ANU Students | $55 Non-ANU Students | Free for Indigenous Students

Looking for help with the cost of textbooks? ANUSA has a Textbook Program available to assist eligible students with the cost of textbooks. Applications are now open and close 10 August. Students can find out more and apply via the link above when applications open.
 

ANU 80th Anniversary - Volunteering Opportunity
Be part of ANU's 80th Anniversary celebrations. They are seeking student volunteers for our Community day - a day where ANU will invite the community to our campus for a day of discovery and creativity.  We are seeking student volunteers for a number of roles: 

  • Wayfinding guides
  • Customer experience lead at various events throughout the day
  • Assisting exhibitors and presenters with their showcase
  • Plus more
  • Volunteers will be provided with food vouchers and merch during their shift.
