Graduation Ceremony Assistance Program
The Graduation Ceremony Assistance Program (GCAP) is currently closed.
The Graduation Ceremony Assistance Program (GCAP) assists students experiencing financial hardship that might prevent them from attending their graduation ceremony. The program covers the cost of academic regalia hire for the approved applicants. The ANU Graduations Office covers the cost of the regalia.
Financial hardship is where a student, by hiring graduation attire, might be left unable to provide for themselves or their dependents. This includes the impact on affording food, accommodation, essential clothing, medical treatment, education or other basic necessities.
To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Be enrolled as an ANU student, including undergraduate, postgraduate and research
- Be eligible to graduate in the upcoming graduation ceremony.
- Able to demonstrate financial hardship
