Birth Control Subsidy
The ANUSA Birth Control Subsidy is designed to support enrolled students at the ANU who need financial support towards their birth control/contraception prescriptions, regardless of which pharmacy they choose to purchase from.
Successful applicants will be provided with a 50% reimbursement of eligible birth control/contraception prescription up to the amount of $250 per year. Students must submit their reimbursement within 2 weeks of purchase.
This subsidy does not have to be paid back.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently enrolled domestic or international student at the ANU;
- Have purchased a eligible birth control/contraception prescription in the 2 weeks.

Please note: Purchases of condoms and menstrual products are not eligible, but both are usually available at the BKSS Mutual Aid shelf.
Application Process
To apply for this program the following must be provided:
1. Evidence of current enrollment (Click here for instructions);
2. Proof of purchase of birth control (receipt containing tax invoice number).
