ANUSA Bicycle Program
The ANU Students’ Association Bicycle Program is designed to provide financial support to eligible enrolled students who use, or would like to use, a bicycle for transport.
The main criteria for support is the demonstration of a genuine need and specific bicycle-related expenses. This program provides reimbursement up to a maximum of $150 per year for costs related to bicycle use, such as:
- Bicycle servicing
- Bicycle parts
- Bicycle safety equipment (lights, reflectors, helmet)
- Bicycle purchase
- Any other cost that can be associated directly to bicycle usage
While there is no official partnership with any specific bicycle shop in the ACT, ANUSA recommends Mojo Cycles as a low-cost and student-friendly option near campus. Mojo Cycles is located close to campus and has student specific offerings, such as their “Pub Bike Service” for students, that is priced at $40, as well as refurbished bikes for sale.
