ANUSA Textbook Voucher Program
The ANUSA Textbook Voucher Program is designed to provide ANU students facing financial hardship to purchase prescribed textbook(s) for their enrolled courses. Successful applicants can receive up to $300 in Harry Hartog textbook vouchers per application.
Recommended reading materials are not covered.
Successful applicants will be notified of their outcome and will be able to pick up the book vouchers at Harry Hartog for textbook purchases. Please note, depending on the application, the book vouchers provided may not cover the total amount requested.
Aims:
- To provide book vouchers for essential prescribed textbooks purchases to students who are facing financial difficulties.
- To offer alternate means of assisting students who do not qualify for any other means of assistance. For example, students who have already used their ANUSA Assistance Grant for the semester.
Eligibility criteria
- Enrolled domestic or international student at the ANU;
- can demonstrate, through an application, their financial need and requirement to purchase essential reading for a course/s.
Application process
To apply for textbook voucher the following must be provided and uploaded:
1. Evidence of current enrolment (instructions can be found here);
2. Provide the recommendation of the book in course outline or communication by the course convener.
3. Provide a bank transition history for the last 30 days. Transaction histories are required for all accounts both in Australian and overseas banks in order for applications to be considered.
