Grocery voucher Program

The ANUSA Voucher Program is designed to provide ANU students facing financial hardship access to groceries.

A maximum total of $100 worth of grocery vouchers can be granted per student per semester at the discretion of ANUSA. Vouchers are issued in $50 increments, and students must submit a separate  application for each $50 voucher. Once the first $50 voucher has been issued or used, students are welcome to apply again for the remaining $50.

For Voucher and Grant purposes, ANUSA considers Semester 1 as January-June and Semester 2 as July-December

Aims:

  • To provide funds for essential groceries to students who are struggling to afford essential items.
  • To offer alternate means of providing assistance to students who do not qualify for any other means of assistance. For example students who have already used their ANUSA Assistance Grant for the year
 

Eligibility criteria:

  • Enrolled student at the ANU
  • Struggling to afford basic living costs such as food, hygiene items
  • Have not already accessed $100 worth of grocery vouchers through the ANUSA Grocery Voucher Program in the current semester
