O-Week 2026
16-20 February
From Speed Friending to Market Day, Lunar New Year festivities to Mardi Gras celebrations, Tim Tam Day to Band Night – build your constellation of friends, memories, and traditions as the semester kicks off.
Events Program
Universal Lunch Hour
After a quick bite? Universal Lunch Hour—or ‘ULH’ as its more often referred as—is a free BBQ. The usual items on offer are sausages (meat and vego), onions, bread, and occasionally the odd hashbrown or kofta.
During the semester, every Thursday, various clubs and societies run the ULH program. Its a great way to chat with and learn about different clubs on campus, have a feed and socialise between classes.
However, for O-Week, ANUSA runs ULH everyday!
So come down to Fellows Oval for a sausage sizzle and refueling before heading off for more O-Week shenanigans.
When:
Everyday at 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
Where:
At the fixed BBQs on Fellows Oval (just behind Chifley Library)
Dietaries:
Vegetarian and Gluten Free options are available,
Meet ANUSA Departments
11AM-12:30PM, Uni Ave in front of Broger and Harry Hartog
Did you know ANUSA has seven departments? The department fete is a great opportunity to get to know your Disabilities, BIPOC (Bla(c)k, Indigenous, People of Colour), Environment, Indigenous, International, Queer*, and Women’s department officers.🫶
