Welcome to the biggest O-Week ever! This year, we’re going Supernova!

With 60+ events across campus, there’s something for every kind of star – early risers, night owls, social butterflies, explorers, chill observers, and everyone in between.

From Speed Friending to Market Day, Lunar New Year festivities to Mardi Gras celebrations, Tim Tam Day to Band Night – build your constellation of friends, memories, and traditions as the semester kicks off.

Our Legal Team and Student Assistance Team are doing weekly drop-in sessions every Monday so you can drop by and ask any questions you might have while studying at the ANU.

 

Shut Up and Write Recommencing for 2026

 

Are you an HDR student (PhD, MPhil, or Master student producing a thesis)? Come and join ANUSA Shut Up and Write sessions, a dynamic and supportive writing program designed to fuel your productivity and foster a vibrant writing community. 

Free lunch or dinner will be provided for registered attendees (subject to availability).

Has your EAP been affected (Disability)?

You may have noticed some changes to the adjustments in your EAP. This is because accessibility is changing how some adjustments work. So far, it's been noticed that the "assignments/coursework/research inclusive teaching" adjustment being removed.

ANU Solar Racing Team Recruitment

ANU Solar Racing Team is a student-run, multidisciplinary team that designs, builds and races solar-powered electric vehicles, with the goal of competing in the 2027 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.

They are recruiting for technical roles within Electrical, Mechanical and Structures teams, and business and operations roles within Events, Marketing and Partnerships teams. These roles are open to students from a wide range of academic backgrounds and year levels, especially those interested in applied learning, sustainability and working in multidisciplinary teams.

An updated bus timetable begins Monday 2 February. Plan ahead and get familiar with the updated timetable and network map.

Please note that all existing concession expiry dates have been automatically extended to 31 March 2026 to support you returning to uni.
