ANUSA Union Pantry Launched!

We are pleased to announce the launch of Union Pantry, a student-led, free food and essential items service for ANU students. 

When is it?

Friday afternoons in term-time from 2pm to 4pm

How it works:

Students should register in advance through the link. A maximum of 50 students can register for each 2 hour session to collect up to 5 free items. You must register in advance to access the pantry.

Location:

The ANUSA Union Pantry is located on the ANU campus on Kingsley Street under Warrumbul Lodge.

2025 Election EOI Form

This form is provided by ANUSA for students who may be interested in running for positions at the general election. These expressions of interest are made available to students convening tickets (groups of students who run together in elections).

Student Town Hall

 

ANUSA is holding a student town hall on 28 July to discuss ANU’s recent change proposals affecting three major areas as part of $250 million in cuts. Join us at Manning Clarke Hall in the Lowitja O'Donoghue Cultural Centre, 6–8pm, to learn more about what's happening, the rational for the change, how this impacts students, and what we can do about it.

 

Semester 2 Enrolment

If you're unsure how to enrol for a semester 2 course, please visit the link below. The last date to enrol via ANUHub is 28th July 2025.

How to enrol

 

As of Semester 2, 2025 (commencing Monday 21 July 2025), the Extenuating Circumstances Application (ECA) process has been updated. These changes apply to all Semester 2, 2025 courses but do not apply to Winter Session or earlier courses and are not applied retrospectively.

Textbook Program

 

The ANUSA Textbook Voucher Program is designed to provide ANU students facing financial hardship to purchase prescribed textbook(s) for their enrolled courses. Successful applicants can receive up to $300 in Harry Hartog textbook vouchers per application.

HDR Shut Up and Write August Sessions

Shut Up and Write sessions are for HDR students or postgraduate students who produce thesis to get together regularly and focus on short, intense bursts of productive writing in a supportive environment, using the Pomodoro Technique. This technique involves writing in silence for 50 minutes bursts, with regular ten-minute rests for coffee, snacks and chatting.

National Science Week event

The ANU and the Australian Society for Parasitology are co-hosting Parasite Pandemic in Catcheside Court of RN Robertson Building this National Science Week! Find the antidote to the pandemic in the laboratory escape room; hunt for parasites among wildlife animals in virtual realities; meet parasitologists from ANU and the parasites they research; and study parasites in popular culture!
