Expressions of Interest form now open

Have you ever thought about representing your fellow students by running in the ANUSA elections?

This Expressions of Interest form is an official mechanism provided by ANUSA for students who are interested in running for ANUSA positions to express interest. These expressions of interest are made available to students convening tickets (groups of students who run together in elections).

ANUSA representatives are elected by the ANU student body. The ANUSA elections happen each year in Semester 2. All positions are held for a period of one year, beginning December 1st and ending November 30th the following year.

After an extraordinary Bush Week where new and returning students caught up and met the Postgraduate and Research Network is hosting a pub trivia for any students undertaking postgraduate or higher degree research studies.

ANUSA Birth Control Subsidy

The ANUSA Birth Control Subsidy is designed to support enrolled students at the ANU who need financial support towards their birth control/contraception prescriptions, regardless of which pharmacy they choose to purchase from.

Successful applicants will be provided with a 50% reimbursement of eligible birth control/contraception prescription up to the amount of $250 per year. Students must submit their reimbursement within 2 weeks of purchase.

ANU-Civic Bus Loop

The ANU-Civic Loop Bus route and timetable will be updated from Monday 17 August as routes and timings continue to be tested throughout the pilot.

The changes include:

University Avenue will be included as a stop on every loop, providing another connection point on campus.
The bus will stop at the Canberra Centre (Ainslie Avenue) at 6:48pm each weeknight to assist students to bring shopping back to campus.
The final loop will start from Rimmer St at 7:18pm.
There will be minor changes to departure times across all stops. Passengers are encouraged to check the latest timetable before travelling.

ANU Energy Update 2026: Beyond Hormuz - Australia and the new energy geopolitics
9.30 - 12.30 pm, Thursday 17 September @ Kambri Cultural Centre and online.
The ANU Energy Update 2026 will bring together energy experts to explore some of the implications of this new energy landscape. There will be two panel discussions. The first will provide a selection of international perspectives and the second will focus on Australia's electrification agenda, with specific attention on transportation.
