Click here  .png) Based on a 2024 survey of 378 students, this report explores how generative AI (GenAI) tools are shaping the student experience at ANU — from clarifying ideas to structuring writing and getting feedback when other support isn’t available. While many students use GenAI thoughtfully, concerns about fairness, skill development, and unclear guidelines remain. Students aren’t asking for unrestricted use — we’re asking for clarity, critical engagement, and genuine support.  Minimum wages increase to $24.95 per hour from 1 July 2025. This applies to all workers, including students (unless specific exemptions apply). Whether you’re working part-time, full-time, or casual, you deserve fair pay. The conference is an annual meeting of the National Union of Students and the place where member organisations and student activists participate in workshops and plenaries relevant to students and student unions across Australia.
