Dropping courses after the Census date or 6th October deadline

What happens if you want to drop a course after Census date or 6th October deadline to drop courses without failure? Perhaps you had a medical condition occur or become exacerbated after the census date? Maybe a family tragedy occurred after the deadline?

There is a process called Late Withdrawal that can apply to these type of situations. The purpose of lodging a late withdrawal application is to get a withdrawal without failure grade and to get a refund of your fees (or HECS-HELP debt).  The basis of a Late Withdrawal application is unavoidable and unexpected extenuating circumstances that occurred after the census date.

Information on the Late Withdrawal process can be found here
