ANU Democracy Society

What We Do

DemSoc is a non-partisan student society dedicated to having intelligent discussions about the big issues.

Programs & Events

We host regular events on campus where students can sit and chat with experts in democracy, whether they be journalists, politicians, diplomats etc . . .

Why should I come?

To learn and engage with Canberra's best experts in a friendly setting. Any student is welcome whatever their degree or level of knowledge - uni is a unique opportunity for this, so come along!

When and where?

We hold regular friendly discussions at Badger & Co. at 6pm, twice per term.

We don't have anything planned right now but check back soon!

We acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which ANUSA operates.
We recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters, and communities of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We pay our respect to Elders, past and present, and commit to standing with our first nations people.
