ANU Persian Society

Please log in to join this organisation.

The ANU Persian Society aims to enhance knowledge and appreciation of Persian culture and language in an apolitical and non-religious environment.

The society is a student based, not-for-profit organisation with close ties with the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies (CAIS) at the ANU. We are a network of friends committed to sharing our love of Persian culture and language and strengthening the ties between the Persian community of Canberra and the students of ANU.

The ANU Persian Society is open to all so we encourage anyone with an interest in Persian language and culture to become involved. You do not need to be Persian!

We don't have anything planned right now but check back soon!

We acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which ANUSA operates.
We recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters, and communities of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We pay our respect to Elders, past and present, and commit to standing with our first nations people.
