Italian Club

The ANU Italian Cultural Society aims at:

(a) Promoting Italian language and culture in various ways organizing social events which will involve not only ANU students of Italian, but also all those students with a passion for Italy and its customs. The activities organised by the society will include weekly language sessions and film & pizza evenings.

(b) Fostering the relation between Australian and Italian cultures by highlighting the contribution of the Italian community to Australian culture. In order to do this, occasional trips to various places with a strong Italian community (e.g. Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane) will be organised.

(c) Bringing an original contribution to the wide range of cultural societies at ANU and promote the exchange between people from different linguocultural backgrounds with an interest in Italian language and culture.
