Suitcase Rummage Event

Spend a lot of your time on Depop? Or been meaning to donate those clothes sitting in a box in your closet for a while? Well lucky you, we're hosting a suitcase rummage. Mark the 14th of May in your calendars and see what the stylish people of ANU are hoping to pass on to a new home.

If you're interested in selling or swapping your own clothes at the event rather than just browsing and looking for yourself, keep an eye out for our EOI form which will be going out next week.

Nominations Close Soon: Election of ANUSA Probity Officers & Disputes Committee

Probity Officers are responsible for impartially assisting in the conduct of the ANUSA Annual Elections. The primary workload is in the lead-up to the ANUSA Annual Election, which shall fall between Week 8 and Week 10 of Semester 2. The SRC is looking to elect three (3) or more Probity Officers.

Disputes Committee members serve on the ANUSA Disputes Committee.  The workload is sporadic, and not burdensome, assisting in determining disputes submitted. The SRC is looking to elect up to five (5) Disputes Committee members.

You are encouraged to contact sa.gensec@anu.edu.au if you have any questions. Nominations close 22 April at SRC.

ANUSA Parents and Carers - Committee EOIs

Are you a student parent or carer, or someone passionate about improving support for students with caring responsibilities?

The ANU Students’ Association (ANUSA) is seeking three Co-Conveners to help lead the Parents & Carers Committee.

The committee plays an important role in ensuring that student parents and carers at ANU are supported academically, socially, and through advocacy within the university community.

We are currently seeking Co-Conveners for the following roles:

• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Social Officer

These roles will work closely with the Parents and Carers Officer (ANUSA) to help organise meetings, run initiatives, manage resources, and build a supportive community for student parents and carers.

Whether you are a student parent/carer yourself or simply passionate about supporting this community, we encourage you to apply.

Apply via the form below to express your interest. Nominations close 27 April.

Are you writing your thesis and need a bit of a morale boost? Shut Up and Write sessions are for you to get together regularly and focus on short, intense bursts of productive writing in a supportive environment, using the Pomodoro Technique. Free meals are also available to eligible HDR students.

No More Password Hassle

The new self-service password management is here!

You can now reset or change your University ID password anytime without needing to contact the ANU IT Service Desk. You don’t need to do anything right now, just use the new process the next time your password expires or if you forget it.

Resetting your password (when you have forgotten it) is now handled through a Microsoft password reset portal. When resetting your password, you will need to verify your identity. For the best experience and full support, we recommend using the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Changing your password (when you still know it) is done through your device’s usual password‑change option or through the Microsoft My Account Portal.

All operating systems including personal devices are supported.

For more information and step-by-step instructions, visit anu.edu.au/password.
