ANUSA Parents & Carers Grant

ANUSA recognises that students who are carers can often face additional barriers to study due to competing priorities and increased financial commitments. The ANUSA Carers Grant aims to assist students who have a dependent in their care and are experiencing financial hardship that may become a barrier to completion of their program of study. The ANUSA Carers Grant is a one-off payment of up to $1000 at the discretion of the committee.

Eligibility

  • Be enrolled as an ANU student

  • Have dependent(s) in their care

  • Be able to demonstrate financial need due to carer responsibilities

  • If the applicant holds an overseas student visa, they must demonstrate a genuine and unforeseen change in financial circumstances that occurred after commencing their program of study, given that visa requirements already require evidence of adequate financial capacity.

Additional Information
