Executive

Vice President | Charlotte Carnes

The Vice President has a similar role to the President. They are also involved in co-ordinating student appeals. Their focus is on internal education matters such as faculty policies and information services.

Welcome!

Hey ANU fam, my name is Eleanor and I’m your ANUSA Vice President for 2017! I am a big fan of soy lattes, sushi and yellow homewares (because eating breakfast from a yellow bowl is the ideal way to start a morning!)

The Vice President sits on a range of University committees, as well as coordinating the ANUSA Mental Health Committee and the Brian Kenyon Student Space. If you’ve got ideas about how we can make the BKSS better, or want to be more involved in Mental Health activism on campus, please feel free to get in contact! You can also contact me about academic appeals, if you’ve got a mark that you think is wrong or unfair, or if your lecturer is not doing something you think they should. Please shoot me an email at sa.vicepres@anu.edu.au and I’ll get back to you!

One thing I’m really looking forward to doing in 2017 is consolidating a program for Honours students to provide opportunities to build relationships with others going through the same adventure, and for academic support in the specifics of the Honours program. If you’re an honours student in 2017 and are keen to be involved, feel free to send me an email as well!
