PARSA presents 'Wellness Week 2021'!

It’s time to take a moment for yourself to think, relax, and reload. Enjoy a range of wellness activities which will cover nutrition, relaxation, self-care, and active well-being.

The aim of PARSA's Wellness Week is to promote emotional well-being to the community, encouraging students to maximise their health potential, enhancing the coping capacity of communities, families and individuals.

Join us this Wellness Week to revive your mind, body and soul!

Wellness Week Event 1: Yoga

Yoga is an excellent way to relax and unwind. We have invited Nayan Sarda, the well-liked registered yoga teacher from our previous yoga programs, to conduct the Wellness Week yoga sessions.

Through this program, you would be able to:
- Improve concentration and focus
- Enhance balance, flexibility, posture and muscle tone
- Better cope with stress with relaxation techniques
- Promote mental well-being and an active lifestyle

If you can breathe, you can do Yoga! No matter what fitness level you are at, just join in for a relaxing yoga session ??

Wellness Week Event 2: Free Coffee + Tea Cake (and more)

Need a coffee break from exam preps? PARSA has got you covered!

PARSA members can get a FREE regular hot beverage + a dessert of their choice at Kismet Turkish Gourmet!

You may choose from a range of regular hot beverage options, including coffee, hot chocolate, chai or mocha, with any type milk of your choice (including soy, almond etc). The dessert ranges from baklava, fruit tarts, brownie to an assortment of tea cakes.

Kismet Turkish Gourmet is located 2 minutes’ walk away from the Street Theatre, on the ground floor of City West Carpark Arcade on Marcus Clark Street. It serves speciality coffee sourced from C&O Bean Merchants. ‘Specialty coffee’ refers to highest-quality roasted beans with bold flavours of nougat, hazelnut and honey, that light up every mouthful. If you’ve been wanting to try speciality Lucero Arabica coffee, Kismet Turkish Gourmet is your place to start!

Remember to bring your student ID to redeem the offer.

Wellness Week Event 3: Kriss Kross Vouchers

PARSA is subsidising wellness vouchers for the Kriss Kross Barbershop & Salon at ANU for $5 (valued from $45) or $15 (valued from $60).*

The $5 voucher entitles you to a Short Hair Cut (includes shampoo), valued from $45*
The $15 voucher entitles you to a Medium to Long Hair Cut & Blow-dry (includes shampoo), valued from $60.*

Vouchers are available for purchase from 12pm, 16 June to 30 June 2021.

Number of vouchers is limited, grab quickly!

Offer is available to ANU postgrads and research students and their immediate families only. Each PARSA member can purchase one voucher and another for their immediate family member.

Upon ticket purchase, PARSA will send a confirmation and the student will need to contact Kriss Kross to make the booking before 31 August 2021.

*** Booking restrictions at Kriss Kross are:
· Physical distancing where possible. X marks the spot to keep 4 square metres per person.
· Customers who are unwell, please prevent visits.

· Each client’s hair will be shampooed before services.
· Clients who are unwell, please reschedule.
· All facial treatments are excluded until further notice.
· We ask to attend your appointments alone, unless accompanied by a parent.
· No groups in waiting area.
